Your amazingly generous broker will pay for the first 5 lines of your Ad. (This does NOT include 'By Appt' ads.) The headline counts as 2 lines. This allows you approximately 141 characters for free on your Open ads. THIS IS AN ESTIMATE. There are several factors which will increase the size and cost of your ad. •- The address DOES count toward the total ad count, as DOES your name and phone number. •- Some characters are wider than others, (compare 'W' to 'i'). Also, '21398 S Westminster Blvd #A-304' will take up more space than '325 Broad St.', so this is not an exact measurement. 1 line is approximately 47 characters. Click the 'Count Characters' button to see how many characters you currently have typed into your description field. For Agent names, since some have longer names than others, what I do is this: If your first name fits onto the 5th line, I will not bill you for the 6th line. If, however, your entire name and number are pushed onto the 6th line, then I have to bill you for that line. One more thing to consider: If you have a long word, or an URL (website address), the Seattle Times will not hyphenate it for you. Instead, it will get pushed on to it's own line, and the text above it will be spaced out to fill up the line. Therefore, your ad may be longer... even though you are 'technically' within the suggested character count. For more detailed questions, please come speak with your fabulous Internet Coordinator.
